This project has now finished. We are pleased to say that we successfully achieved all of our targets.
Feedback from people who participated on the project was very positive.
Many went on to further learning immediately after completing their initial qualification.
The project is designed
to increase the achievements of Skills
for Life for people employed in the public and the voluntary
sectors in Suffolk. There should be no cost to the individual or
the employer.
We can fund / arrange:
English, maths and English for speakers of
other languages (ESOL) up to Level 2
Following completion of the first course we
can support advice sessions and further learning opportunities
Following successful completion of your English,
maths or ESOL course we can offer up to £100 for further
learning opportunities of your choice (conditions apply).
Our courses
Courses can be short or longer depending on the learners need. They
can be in small groups or may be on an individual basis. We can
arrange courses personalised to you... Training is provided by all
the main learning providers
in Suffolk (colleges, Suffolk CC Training Matters, the Workers Education
Association).

We ensure a supportive and professional environment for all our
learners. We offer professional independent advice and follow on
opportunities. Case Studies
The Public sector
This project is able to fund learners from Local Authorities, the
Health Service, the Civil Service and other public services. It
may also be able to fund projects with contractors in the public
services.
The Voluntary sector
We are able to work with and fund training for not for profit and
voluntary organisations in Suffolk.
